THE MISSION
Our mission aims to maximize each individual’s potential and offer tools to
parents and people involved with that individual to better support and accompany him.
We favor an individualized approach to meet the particular needs of
each individual.
We recognize that parents are the first expert of their child and are
essential partners.
We believe that each individual has the potential to strive toward
independence, whatever his age or level of functioning.
We respect that each individual has the right to exercise his power and
choices regarding decisions that concern him.
Our team
Director
Dre Marie-Hélène Prud’homme, D.Ps. psychologist, has a doctorate in
psychologie from the
Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). She has been working in the field of autism since 1987, in schools, hospitals, community services, readaptation centers. She has developed an expertise in diagnostic assessment and in social skills intervention. She also gives training on many subject related to ASD. She teaches courses and supervises students during their internship for the Diplôme d’Études Supérieures Spécialisées en intervention comportementale des troubles envahissants du développement à l’UQAM.
Our team includes :
Mme Cherine Nasri, special needs teacher and ASD specialist
Mme Julie Deschatelets, Psychology consultante et ASD specialist
Our team consist also of 3 psychologists, 2 doctoral students in psychology, and
2 consultants in early intervention and adolescents and adults.
