Nowak-Hélène Lamirande, M. Ps.

She holds a master's degree in psychology and her doctoral curriculum from the University of Montrealas well as many trainings and workshops on autism. She worked for over 20 years, in a hospital, as a psychologist and coordinator of autism spectrum assessment and diagnostic services with interdisicplinairy teams. She has supervised and trained many students and professionals in autism. She has expertise in differential diagnosis and assessment of cognitive functions in children adolescents and adults with and without delay.

Dr. Marie-Hélène Prud'homme, Psy. D.
She holds a doctorate in psychology at UQAM. She has been working in the field of autism spectrum disorders for over 20 years, both in schools, hospitals, with community organizations and rehabilitation centers in Quebec. She has developed an expertise in diagnostic and functional assessment in children, adolescents and adults and in intervention on social skills and anxiety management. She teaches  workshops on various subjects related to ASD. She is a lecturer at UQAM and UQAR and supervises interships from the DESS in TED from UQAM as well as doctoral students.
 

Mlle Naima Fahmi, DESS TED, Doctoral student

 

She completed the DESS  in Autism from UQAM (Diplome d'études supérieures spécialisées en intervention comportementale auprès des personnes ayant un trouble du spectre de l'autisme). She is finishing her doctorate in psychology. Cumulating 6 years of experience in schools, with students on the autism spectrum (children and teenagers), she has developped an expertise in the treatment of anxiety disorders and managing emotions. She is also experienced in assessing learning disabilities and attention deficit disorders with or without hyperactivity.
