OUR SERVICES


Our assessment services are based on current clinical protocols in the hospital clinics specializing in disorder in the autism spectrum and within the guidelines of the College of Psychologists of Quebec and the College of Physicians (ADOS, ADI- R, intellectual assessment, functional assessment).

Our interventions are based mainly on applied behavioral analysis (ABA), the cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), the structured intervention and individualized according to the TEACCH model, the communication system Picture Exchange (PECS) and approaches to socio-emotional (Early Start Denver model, RDI, SCERTS, etc.)..


Assessment

• Screening
• Evaluation and clinical conclusion for a diagnosis of a disorder in the spectrum of autism, mental retardation and developmental delay.
• Psychological evaluation (intellectual potential and cognitive, developmental assessment, functional analysis of behavior, adaptive behavior)
• Functional assessment skills for transition to adult life (housing, socio-professional, community, etc.)..


Intervention

For children (0-12 years)


• Managing emotions and anxiety, self-esteem
• Development of communication and social skills
• Skill development of personal autonomy, domestic and community
• Development of educational programs, behavior management and practical application for everyday family and community
• Development of skills achievement (help with homework, organizational strategies, educational support, etc.).

 

 

For adolescents (12-18 years)

• Managing emotions, anxiety and self-esteem
• Development of communication and social skills
• Skill development of personal autonomy, domestic and community
• Development of educational programs, behavior management and         practical application for everyday family and community living
• Development of skills achievement (help with homework, organizational strategies, educational support, etc.).

Support for siblings and the family (0-18 years)
